Walking everyday is good for weight loss

If you want to remove 2 pounds (about 1 kg) of your weight per week then you can walk everyday for two hours. Of course depends on your speed (assumption is for 3 mph (5 kph) or you need to walk: 6 miles (10 km) everyday. Walking is not just a simple burning booster but also has many benefits to your health: increased endurance, it strengthens your bones and joints, develops all body muscles, fortifies immune system, improves blood circulation, better distribution of blood for organs to and many others. Walking is good also for socializing, when you need to refresh your mind or inspiration for ideas.

My experience from the past

Several years ago I made the marathon distance about 26 mi ( or 42 km) in 12 hours uphill and downhill walking. I made 2 breaks of 1 hour. A moderate trail with several elevation changes about one mile (1 700 meters) of ascent. The uphill route was longer and really exhausting. At the end of the walk I was with small pains in the legs but in good mood and refreshed. I feel like a made a good ventilation for my lung and training for my body. Outdoor walking is like a restart for all body systems and after it you feel like a brand new person. :)

P.S. Don't try to do it if your body is not ready for it. You can finish with injuries in case that you are not experienced hiker. Also good equipment is required.
